Bahrain Women Union participates in the discussion of the Unified Arab Family Law.

 Bahrain Women Union participated in the workshop entitled "Reading the Draft of the Unified Arab Family Law", which was organized by the Excellence Consulting Center for Development, the Rural Girls Women's Association, the Bahraini Women's Association, and the Jordanian Women's Union. The workshop was addressed by lawyer Hassan Ismail, lawyer Abdullah Al-Shamlawi, and Dr. Abdul Basit Heikal from the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The workshop, which was held on Saturday morning, May 31, 2025, at the Bahrain Convention Centre at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, was attended by Ms. Ahlam Rajab, President of the Union, Ms. Farida Darwish, Vice President, and Council members Ms. Badria Al Marzouq, Head of the Family Law and Marriage Contract Document Committee, Dr. Maryam Al Shatti, Head of the Monitoring and Research Committee and Head of the Financial Resources Committee, and Ms. Rawaa Al Sheikh, Financial Secretary , and by the members of the Union, Ms. Hashimiya Al-Sayed and Ms. Nisreen Al-Arid, and the representative, Ms. Iman Shuwaiter, and a large audience of women’s associations, lawyers, and social activists.
